Lynn P. Thurman

Lynn Thurman is an associate with Massey, Bowers & Hembree LLC. She joined the firm in May, 2006.

Prior to joining Massey, Bowers & Hembree, Lynn served the citizens of the State of Georgia for many years in both the Executive and Legislative branches. From 1998 to 2002, Lynn assisted the Legislative and Deputy Legislative Counsel with the preparation of the Governor’s legislative packet, as well as, preparing extradition documents of prisoners to and from the state of Georgia and to assist in the preparation of Executive Orders.

In 2002 Lynn moved to the Office of the Speaker of the House, where she served as Administrator for the Georgia House of Representatives. In this position, Lynn was responsible for the daily supervision of the administrative staff for the House. Later, Lynn served as the Administrative Assistant to Representative Len Walker, Chairman of the Human Relations and Aging Committee and Representative John Heard, Chairman of the Information and Audits Committee.

Lynn and her husband, Kyle have four children and reside in Cartersville, Georgia.
